Rec Soccer FAQ 

Q. When will the 2017 Winter Indoor Season start?
A. The season will start January 7, 2017 and run for 10 weeks. 

Q. When are the games played?
A. Games are usually played on Friday nights between 6pm and 11pm and Saturdays between 9am and 9pm. Game schedules will change on a weekly basis. Generally, players in the Yellow and Orange Divisions play on Saturday morning. Players in the Red Division play on Saturday afternoon. Players in the Green Division play on Saturday evening. Players in the Blue, Silver and Gold Divisions play on Friday evenings. This is subject to change and not set in stone. Depending on the number of registrations, we reserve the right to use other days and times to schedule games.   

Q. Where are the games played?
A. All games are played at The Club at Woodbridge.


Q. When will my team practice?
A. There are no "practices." All players who registered for the Indoor season are eligible to participate in weekly training clinics, which are run by trainers from the New York Red Bulls. Players in the Yellow and Orange Division train on Sunday mornings from 9am - 10am. Players in the Red and Green Division train on Sunday mornings from 10am - 11am. Players in the Blue, Silver, and Gold Divisions train on Sunday mornings from 11am - 12pm. All training clinics are held at The Club at Woodbridge.    

Q. How much does it cost?
A. The registration fee is $110 for each child who registered before December 1. On December 1, the registration fee increases to $135 per child. There are no multi-child discounts for the Indoor season.  


Q. What's included in the registration fee?

A. The registration fee includes a t-shirt, a trophy/participation award at the end of the season, about 10 games, and weekly training clinics. 

Q. What do I need to provide?
A. The only requirement is to make sure you child wears sneakers and shinguards to every game and practice. Players can also bring their own soccer ball. Players in our Yellow and Orange Divisions will use a Size 3 soccer ball. Players in our Red, Green, and Blue Divisions will use a Size 4 soccer ball. Players in our Silver and Gold Divisions will use a Size 5 soccer ball. 

Q. When will I find out what team I am on?
A. We will notify parents towards the end of December. You will be contacted by your team's coach and you will be able to view team information and communicate with your team's coach via Korrio, our league management system.  

Q. Can I request to play for a certain coach or with certain players?
A. Yes. There is a special request section on the registration form where you can ask to play for a certain coach or with certain players. We do our best to honor as many requests as possible, but do not make any guarantees. 



Q. What division will my child play in?
A. 
Children who were born in 2013 will play in the Yellow Division.

Children who were born in 2011 or 2012 
will play in the Orange Division.

Children who were born in 2009 or 2010 
will play in the Red Division.

Children who were born in 2007 or 2008 
will play in the Green Division.

Children who were born in 2005 or 2006 
will play in the Blue Division.

Children who were born in 2003 or 2004 
will play in the Silver Division.

Children who were born in 2001 or 2002 
will play in the Gold Division.
