Rec Soccer FAQ 

Q. When will the Spring 2016 Season start?
A. Practices will start at the end of March. Games will start in early April and run through the end of June. 

Q. When are the games played?
A. Games are played on Saturdays, between 9am and 5pm. Game schedules will change on a weekly basis.   

Q. Where are the games played?
A. Games for players in the Yellow, Orange, Red, and Green Divisions are played at Fords Middle School. Games for players in the Blue Division are played at Bowtie Field. Games for players in the Silver and Gold Division are played at Merrill Park, Bowtie Field, and Woodbridge High School.  


Q. When will my team practice?
A. The coach for each team sets his or her own practice schedule. We ask coaches to try and set a consistent schedule, meaning practices on the same day of the week, at the same time, and at the same field, but they are not required to do so.  

Q. How much does it cost?
A. The registration fee is $80 for the first child and $60 for each additional child, up to a total of $200. 


Q. What's included in the registration fee?

A. The registration fee includes a uniform - jersey, shorts, and socks - a trophy/participation award at the end of the season, 10 games, weekly practices, and weekly training clinics. 

Q. What do I need to provide?
A. The only requirement is to make sure you child wears sneakers and shinguards to every game and practice. Players can also bring their own soccer ball. Players in our Yellow and Orange Divisions will use a Size 3 soccer ball. Players in our Red, Green, and Blue Divisions will use a Size 4 soccer ball. Players in our Silver and Gold Divisions will use a Size 5 soccer ball. 

Q. When will I find out what team I am on?
A. We will notify parents towards the end of March. You will be contacted by your team's coach and you will be able to view team information and communicate with your team's coach via Korrio, our league management system.  

Q. Can I request to play for a certain coach or with certain players?
A. Yes. There is a special request section on the registration form where you can ask to play for a certain coach or with certain players. We do our best to honor as many requests as possible, but do not make any guarantees. 



Q. What division will my child play in?
A. 
Children who were 3 before August 1, 2015 should play in the Yellow division.

Children who were 4 or 5 on August 1, 2015 should play in the Orange division. 

Children who were 6 or 7 on August 1, 2015 should play in the Red division.

Children who were 8 or 9 on August 1, 2015 should play in the Green division.

Children who were 10  or 11 on August 1, 2015 should play in the the Blue division.

Children who were 12 or 13  on August 1, 2015 should play in the Silver division.

Children who were 14 or 15 on August 1, 2015 should play in the Gold division.
