Rec Soccer FAQ 

Q. When will the 2019 Spring Recreation Season start?
A. The season will start in early April and run through the end of June. 

Q. When are the games played?
A. Games for all divisions are played on Saturday. Depending on the number of registrations, we reserve the right to use other days and times to schedule games.   

Q. Where are the games played?
A. Games for the Yellow, Orange, Red, and Green Divisions are played at Fords Middle School. Games for the Blue Division are played at Bowtie Field. Games for the Silver and Gold Division are usually played at Woodbridge High School or Merrill Park.   


Q. When will my team practice?
A. The coach for each team sets a practice schedule. Most teams will practice one night per week, but the coach will pick which night.  

Q. How much does it cost?
A. The registration fee is $80 for the first child and $60 for each additional child, up to a total of $200 per family.   


Q. What's included in the registration fee?

A. The registration fee includes a uniform (jersey, shorts, socks), a trophy/participation award at the end of the season, about 10 games, practices, and weekly training clinics held every Sunday morning. 

Q. What do I need to provide?
A. The only requirement is to make sure you child wears sneakers and shinguards to every game, practice and clinics. Players should also bring their own soccer ball to the clinics. Players in our Yellow and Orange Divisions will use a Size 3 soccer ball. Players in our Red, Green, and Blue Divisions will use a Size 4 soccer ball. Players in our Silver and Gold Divisions will use a Size 5 soccer ball. 

Q. When will I find out what team I am on?
A. We will notify parents towards the end of March. You will be contacted by your team's coach and you will be able to view team information and communicate with your team's coach via Teamsnap, our league management system.  

Q. Can I request to play for a certain coach or with certain players?
A. Yes. There is a special request section on the registration form where you can ask to play for a certain coach or with certain players. We do our best to honor as many requests as possible, but do not make any guarantees. 



Q. What division will my child play in?
A. 
Children who were born in 2015 will play in the Yellow Division.

Children who were born in 2013 or 2014 
will play in the Orange Division.

Children who were born in 2011 or 2012 
will play in the Red Division.

Children who were born in 2009 or 2010 
will play in the Green Division.

Children who were born in 2007 or 2008 
will play in the Blue Division.

Children who were born in 2005 or 2006 
will play in the Silver Division.

Children who were born in 2003 or 2004 
will play in the Gold Division.
