Rec Soccer FAQ 

Q. When will the 2020 Winter Indoor Recreation Season start?
A. The season will start in early January and run through the early March. 

Q. When are the games played?
A. Games for all divisions are played on Yellow, Orange, Red, Green, and Blue Divisions are played on Saturdays. Games for the Silver and Gold Divisions are played on Friday night. Depending on the number of registrations, we reserve the right to use other days and times to schedule games.   

Q. Where are the games played?
A. All games are played at The Club at Woodbridge (585 Main Street, Woodbridge)


Q. When will my team practice?
A. There is a training clinic held every Sunday. Players in the Yellow and Orange Division train from 9am-10am. Players in the Red and Green Division train from 10am-11am. Players in the Blue, Silver, and Gold Divisions train from 11am-12pm. The training clinics are run by a trainer from the New York Red Bulls.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. The registration fee is $110 per child.   


Q. What's included in the registration fee?

A. The registration fee includes a shirt, a trophy/participation award at the end of the season, about 10 gamesand weekly training clinics held every Sunday morning. 

Q. What do I need to provide?
A. The only requirement is to make sure you child wears sneakers and shinguards to every game, practice and clinics. Players should also bring their own soccer ball to the clinics. Players in our Yellow and Orange Divisions will use a Size 3 soccer ball. Players in our Red, Green, and Blue Divisions will use a Size 4 soccer ball. Players in our Silver and Gold Divisions will use a Size 5 soccer ball. 

Q. When will I find out what team I am on?
A. We will notify parents towards the end of December. You will be contacted by your team's coach and you will be able to view team information and communicate with your team's coach via Teamsnap, our league management system.  

Q. Can I request to play for a certain coach or with certain players?
A. Yes. There is a special request section on the registration form where you can ask to play for a certain coach or with certain players. We do our best to honor as many requests as possible, but do not make any guarantees. 



Q. What division will my child play in?
A. 
Children who were born in 2016 will play in the Yellow Division.

Children who were born in 2014 or 2015 
will play in the Orange Division.

Children who were born in 2012 or 2013 
will play in the Red Division.

Children who were born in 2010 or 2011 
will play in the Green Division.

Children who were born in 2008 or 2009 
will play in the Blue Division.

Children who were born in 2006 or 2007 
will play in the Silver Division.

Children who were born in 2004 or 2005 
will play in the Gold Division.
